St. Albans

We are a small community pub, located on the corner of Portland St. Open 7 days a week, from 12.midday until 3.00pm 5.30 - 11.00 Monday to Friday, and 12midday until 11pm Sat, and 12midday until 10.30pm on Sunday. Our food hours are Mon 12.-2.00 pm, Tues to Fri 12.00-2.00, 6.30 - 9.30pm, Sat 12.00 - 9.30, and Sunday Lunch served 12.00-4.00pm.

We are a Fullers house and have been nominated for the Good Beer Guide, as well we are active in the Campaign for Real Food, and have had a couple of good reviews written for us both locally and nationally. There is full traceability on all the meat used, which is supplied by a local farm, namely Hedges Farm on the A414 North Orbital Rd.All dishes on the menu are made on the premises by the chef/landlady Kim Champion.

As we are only a small pub, we are unable to take reservations for tables, unless it is for a party of 6/8.
