The museum's aims are to restore and preserve the products and memorabilia of the de Havilland world enterprise. Amongst the exhibits are the original prototype Mosquito, close to the site where it was conceived. De Havilland piston aircraft and jet military and civil aircraft are on display. A Dragon Rapide is being restored to fly. The informal nature of the museum allows visitors to see aircraft systems functioning from time to time and to be close to the exhibits and enter some aircraft cockpits.
